Announcing the Sydney Trains Paramedics Contract..

Colbrow Medics is please to announce that we will be covering Sydney Trains with suitably qualified and experienced Registered Paramedics to seven (7) stations throughout Sydney.  Our designated stations include: Glenfield, Blacktown, Parramatta, Lidcombe, Hurstville, Wolli Creek and Bondi Junction.  With seven years’ experience in delivering near-identical services coupled with a fill-rate of 99%; we are acutely aware that it is vital to reliable and professional at every shift.  Our focus will be continuity and stability: the same Paramedics at the same stations to provide continuity for our staff, the Station Leaders and station staff.

Colbrow Medics has been providing event medical services in Sydney since 2012.  With the demand for our services increasing every year, we now successfully deliver healthcare placements to over 200 NSW clients annually.   This contract now provides the foundations for Colbrow Medics to cement itself in the pre-hospital care industry in NSW as the most reliable and professional.  Being the preferred supplier for clients such as FremantleMedia Australia, Warner Bros. and Fuzzy Entertainment. We adhere to our promise to our clients and staff that we never let people down.

Colbrow Medics has been covering Metro Trains Melbourne since June 2013, and we are very much looking forward to delivering our exceptional customer and patient management to Sydney’s commuters as well.

 

Sydney Trains Paramedic Operational Readiness

Paramedics must be thoroughly inducted to Sydney Trains and the railway industry in general.  Our induction will include modules such as: IntroductionAim of Medical Coverage, Key Performance Indicators, Uniform Policy, Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, Reporting, Response Procedures and Training Requirements.

Our Paramedics will be equipped and prepared from Day 1.  Equipped with a BLS lightweight, response backpack, our Paramedics will be mobile whilst on duty without any stress or strain carrying a larger response kit.

From our experience, Paramedics will have the equipment to treat a range of illnesses and injuries including:

  • Headache
  • Dehydration
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea
  • Fainting
  • Soft Tissue Injuries

And also pre-existing medical conditions:

  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Heart Conditions
  • Asthma
  • Anaphylaxis
